Who Is Judith Oxenberg?
Judith Oxenberg was born on February 3rd, 1941 in Philadelphia. She graduated from Wellesley College in 1962, and Yale Graduate School in 1964. After finishing school, Judith found work as a singer and actress around New York City. From 1984 to 1990 she was the vice president of Collegiate school. Around this time Judith also sat on the board of trustees of Playwright Horizons. Since 1993, Judith has been a Trustee at Mount Sinai Health School of Medicine.
On March 27, 1963, Judith married Robert E. Oxenberg. Robert, a retired bank executive and lawyer, also served as the 70th U.S Secretary of the Treasury during the Clinton administration. Prior to this role, he spent 26 years at Goldman Sachs. After Judith and Robert were married they had two sons, James and Phillip.
Judith has been a part of the theatre world since her college years. She’s even described herself as a “theatre groupie”, and explains first going to the theatre as a young girl with her parents.
