How much does Ariana Madix make per episode?
Honestly, after the betrayal she went through with Scandoval, and then the the hell she went through with her so called friends *looking at you Lala and Scheana* during season 12 of Vanderpump Rules, I’d say it’s not nearly enough.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, A full-time, day one cast member on Vanderpump Rules can earn up to $25,000 per episode. For part time players, or simply friends of, the pay can be particularly low. Brock Davies stated that he made nothing his first season as Scheana’s new man. Another former castmate, Max Boyens, claimed to only have made $4,000 which was split into two parts, ensuring that he would stay on the whole season.
While former “friend of” cast member Billie Lee also claimed she made so little that she could barely cope. She explained, “They have a system for how they pay their newcomers, and it starts out at a low scale.” Since Ariana is neither a newcomer or a part timer, it’s safe to say she’s making closer to the $25,000 amount per ep.
The premiere of the upcoming season 13 of VPR is currently anyone’s guess, as it’s officially on hiatus. After the disastrous attempt at redemption for Tom Sandoval, the desperate pick-me energy of Scheana all season, and the blatant jealous ranting of Lala at the reunion, I’d be surprised if the show even came back. Which is a shame for us day one viewers. *Looking at you production*
If and when VPR comes back for another season, it seems the ball may be in Ariana’s court when it comes to salary negotiations. As it stands today, Miss Madix is currently hosting Love Island USA, and after that she’s back to Broadway in the fall. Keep in mind she also has Something About Her sandwich shop to keep her busy. If there is another season, Ariana may not even want to come back. Afterall, the way production clearly dropped the ball and tried turning her into the villain, I don’t think her longtime fans would blame her if she closed that chapter on her life. However, without Ariana returning, no one wants to watch the Sandoval and his hanger-ons show. Which is precisely why I think Ariana should negotiate for millions.
